For optimal performance and a total burn time of up to 40 hours:

Trim the wick to ¼ inch before each lighting to ensure a clean, even burn and to minimize soot.

Allow the wax to melt fully to the edges of the vessel during the first burn to prevent tunneling.

Do not burn for more than 3 hours at a time. Extinguish, allow the candle to cool, trim the wick, and relight as needed.

Stop burning when ½ inch of wax remains to prevent overheating the vessel.
